John Steele, 68, a former resident of Sedona, died Nov. 26.

He and his wife, Linda, created Territorial House and Boots and Saddles bed and breakfasts in Sedona. The Steeles returned to Nebraska in 2003.

He is survived by his wife Linda; his son Kent (Sherry) Steele; a granddaughter; two step-grandchildren; a brother and a sister; two brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; and their families.

The family requests memorials to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation or to American Cancer Research.
