John R. Spease Dec. 9, 1925 — Aug. 4, 2008 John Richard “Jack” Spease, 82, of Sedona, died Aug. 4. An Army veteran during World War II, Spease received the Purple Heart. Spease is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons Steven [Irmi] Spease and John [Laurie] Spease; daughters Stacey [David] Spease and Nancy [Greg] Spease; a brother, Gene Carroll; and nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services are on Saturday, Aug. 16, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 100 Arroyo Pinon Drive. Donations to the Humane Society of Sedona or St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
