Joan Waller Holliday, 77, of Sedona, died Sept. 20.

Holliday lived in the Verde Valley for 35 years.

She was preceded in death by her friend Rollin Brewer; her parents Emery Earl and Adaline Sailor Waller; and is survived by her son Rick (Paty) of Conroe, Texas, and her granddaughter Sara.

Inurnment will take place in Tomball, Texas. Donations may be sent to the Old Town Mission, 116 E. Pinal St., Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
