James T. Brown, 81, died July 9.

He worked as an illustrator for 32 years and taught at the New York School of Visual Arts.

He retired to Sedona in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Marie, and sons Sean and Matthew.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sedona Community Center Endowment Fund.
