City to upgrade wastewater plant

The Sedona City Council voted unanimously to spend more than $4 million for needed capacity upgrades to the Sedona Wastewater Reclamation Plant.The vote came during the Nov. 12 council meeting.

James Price Meeks, 79, formerly of Sedona, died June 29 in Oklahoma City.

Meeks was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Barbara; and is survived by his wife, Sylvia; a daughter, Sandy; sons Jimmy [Sherri], and Steven [“Randy”]; a step-daughter, Samantha [Lynn]; six grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.

Burial took place in Hayward, Calif.
