James M. McGee, lieutenant colonel, U.S. Marine Corps, retired, 52, of Cottonwood, died March 21.

He is survived by wife Christine McGee; son Mathew McGee; brothers Dennis McGee and Richard McGee; sisters Pat, Sue and Jeanne; and parents John Arthur McGee and Mildred Mary Knackert McGee.

A visitation was held Monday, March 29, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 10 a.m. A Funeral Mass followed at 11 a.m. Military honors followed in front of the church.
