Herbert A. Friedman Aug. 12, 1923 — Aug. 3, 2009 Herbert A. Friedman, 85, of Sedona, died Aug. 3. He was born Aug. 12, 1923, in New York City. He is survived by his wife Roselyn; sons David (Kim), and Bruce (Kathy); daughters, Sharon Thompson (Don) and Karen Maiale (Nicholas); five grandchildren. A funeral service was held Aug. 6 in the Westcott Funeral Home. VFW Post No. 7400 provided military honors. Burial will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
