Gertrude “Trudy” Hessler Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 Gertrude “Trudy” S. Hessler, 94, a resident of Sedona since 1974, died at home Jan. 2. Hessler loved her boxer dogs and raced thoroughbred horses. She loved nature and hiking. Hessler was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; a stepdaughter, Marilyn Baylor; and is survived by stepchildren Judith Farone, of Florida and David Hessler, of Ann Arbor, Mich. Interment was at Sedona Community Cemetery next to her husband on Tuesday, Jan. 8. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
