George Playter July 8, 1917 — Nov. 10, 2011 George Playter, 94, of Sedona, died Nov. 10. Born July 8, 1917, in Philadelphia, he served in the Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by three wives and a brother. He is survived by a niece and his companion Muriel McClure. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in the Sunset Village Clubhouse at 205 S. Sunset Drive. Donations in his memory may be made to the Church of the Red Rocks. |
