George Neil Ward, 85, a resident of Sedona died  Aug. 10, in Flagstaff.

Born in Beverly Township, Ontario, Canada, Ward was a World War II Air Force pilot.

Ward is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters Diana and Kelli; a son, Mike Ward; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Memorial services will be Sunday, Sept. 9, at the Sedona Shadows clubhouse with a potluck following.
