George Kessel

George Herbert Kessel, 88, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 7.

After retiring in 1985, Kessel lived happily with his wife in Sedona and later Cornville.

He is survived by wife Ruth, and his four sons Paul (Sherri) of Cornville, William (Lynne) of Mankato, Minn., David (Lillian) of Cornville, and Tim (Cheryl) of Clarkdale. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Peace Lutheran Church in Cottonwood.
