Aug. 23, 1951 — Jan. 21, 2013

Gary John Davis, 61, a former Sedona city councilman from 1994 to 1998, died Jan. 21.

A resort manager, he served on the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Arizona, Rotary Club of Sedona Red Rocks, Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters, Sedona Community Center and was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife Laurie; daughters Jennifer [Josh] Davis, Kimberly [Adam] Henderson; son Thomas [Kamailelani] Davis, brother Rick Davis; and five grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, March 2.
