Gary Byer, 57, of Reno, Nev., died April 10.

A former Sedona area resident, he is survived by his wife, Cathy; mother, Norma Byer; daughter, Brenna Byer; son, Ian Byer; stepson, Danny Brouwer, daughter-in-law, Marcy and grandchildren, Kole and Wynter; sister, Beverly; and nephew, David Kasavan.
