Estelle T. Palka
July 8, 1925 — Jan. 6, 2009 Estelle Theresa “Tess” Palka of Sedona died Jan. 6 with family in San Diego. Tess was born in Detroit, Mich., to Helen and Anthony Powinski. Tess is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ed Palka; nephew Ed (Sue) Guzik of San Diego; nephew Mike (Karen) Guzik of San Diego; and three grandnephews. A Memorial Mass will be offered February 24, at 1 p.m., at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Sedona.
