Dorothy Merrill, 90, of Sedona, died Oct. 15.

She was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Phoenix. Merrill was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Merrill; and brothers Edward and Fred Haenel. She is survived by nephews Michael Haenel and Burl Haenel [Carolyn].

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, at Sedona Cemetery, 9:30 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 390 Dry Creek Road.
