Daniel M. McVay Sept. 27, 2012 Daniel M. McVay, 96, of Sedona, died Sept. 27. Born in Nebraska, he was an engineer and cartographer, and served as the director of a nationwide program for accurately measuring and recording the boundaries of public lands managed by the U. S. Forest Service. He is survived by daughter Janet McVay; son Gerald McVay; granddaughter Susannah Ries; grandson Collin McVay; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service takes place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Bueler Funeral Home in Camp Verde. |
