Oct. 28, 1929 — Dec. 16, 2008

Born Daisy Marie Womack, in Wickenburg, a fourth generation Arizonan, raised in Flagstaff, graduated Flagstaff HS in 1946. Attended AZ Teachers College [Northern Arizona University]. Married Lou Goldenstein July 1949. Taught first and second grades at Beaver Creek and Camp Verde schools for more than 20 years.

Survived by Louis, her loving husband of 59 years; her son, Steve; daughter Linda; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and numerous family and friends. She enhanced the lives of many and will be greatly missed. A memorial will be held at United Methodist Church, 480 First St., Camp Verde, at 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 22.
