Cheryl G. Elmer Dec. 28, 1948 — Jan. 18, 2010 Cheryl G. “Dee Dee” Elmer, 61, of Sedona, died Jan. 18. She was born Dec. 28, 1948, in Jerome. She was preceded in death by a son, Doyle Newton. She leaves her husband, Jay Elmer; daughter Julie Elmer of Cottonwood; brothers Don R. Elmer and Dean A. Newton of Sedona; sisters LaVern Jones of Grand Junction, Colo., Bonnie Jackson of Lake Montezuma, Phyllis Christy and Sharon Terry of Sedona and Vivian McCroggen of Cornville; and one grandchild, Dillon Lightfoot.
