Betty J. Matas, 75, of Sedona, died Monday, Aug. 20.

A few months ago, Betty and husband, Robert, became famous on their taxi cab moving experience from Queens, N.Y., to Sedona, which was televised and documented around the country.

Matas is survived by her husband, Robert.

Visitation was at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel, 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 23.

Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m., at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Interment: Sedona Community Cemetery.
