Bernard Larry Burstyn, 92, of Sedona, died Jan. 4.

A Sedona resident since 1971, he served in the Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife Myrtle Virginia Burstyn.

He is survived by daughters Sandy [Bill] Meyer of Sedona, Teresa Burstyn [Michael Corvin] of Tempe and Rebekah Fairlight [Shane Byrum] of Sedona; son Larry Joe Burstyn of Cornville; sisters Dottie [Ed] Moran and Toni [Jesse] Sanke; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

According to his wishes, his ashes will be scattered at sea.
