Barbara Goddard Johnstone April 6, 1917 — Feb. 26, 2012 Barbara Goddard Johnstone, 94, died Feb. 26. She was born in Dandridge, Tenn., on April 6, 1917. She worked as a teacher and administrator. From 1967 to 1969, she was a guidance counselor at the Tehran American School, the highlight of her career. Johnstone was predeceased by her husbands, James J. Riley of Tucson and Shelby C. Johnstone of Sedona. She is survived by two daughters, Ellen Rowe of Phoenix, and Judith Amesbury of Talofofo, Guam, as well as their children and grandchildren. |
