Anita Smith Sept. 21, 1925 — Jan. 11, 2010 Anita Smith, 84, of Sedona, died Monday, Jan. 11, at Verde Valley Medical Center. She was born Sept. 21, 1925, in Louisville, Ky. She married Doyle Smith in 1960. They moved to Sedona in 1987. She is survived by her husband; daughter Nora Stewart of Sierra Madre, Calif.; stepson Doyle Shawn Smith of Austin, Texas; brother Morley Read of N. Augusta, S.C.; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Preceded in death by stepson Doyle Jr. Contributions to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or the American Heart Association.
