Aviva Tannin has been one extremely busy — and heavily involved — teen in Sedona, and she has been recognized for her hard work as a recipient of the Youth Leader Award from the nonprofit Verde Valley Aviva Tannin, a senior at Sedona Red Rock High School, won the Verde Valley Youth Leadership Award. The award was presented to her on Tuesday, May 13.Leadership.

Tannin, a graduating senior at Sedona Red Rock High School, is also the outgoing president of the school’s Key Club and a co-editor-in-chief of the yearbook, and has been active in the Thespian Club since ninth grade.

“I do Key Club, which I’ve been in since my freshman year, and I’m currently president,” she said. “That’s really the main leadership that I’ve done, because that’s where I run meetings every week and coordinate projects and have meetings with other people to represent the youth.
