The Sedona Main Street Program hosted the 44th annual St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival along Jordan Road in Uptown on Saturday, March 15.

St. Patricks Parade and FestivalThe Parade Grand Marshal was U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick [D-District 1], the congresswoman representing Sedona. Other dignitaries included Sedona Mayor Rob Adams, Cottonwood Mayor Diane Joens, Camp Verde Vice Mayor Jackie Baker, Coconino County District 3 Supervisor Matt Ryan, Yavapai County District 3 Supervisor Chip Davis, Yavapai County District 2 Supervisor Thomas Thurman, Yavapai County District 4 Supervisor Craig Brown, Sedona Vice Mayor Mark DiNunzio, Sedona City Councilmen John Martinez, Dan Mcllroy and Mike Ward.

There were more than 50 entries, including floats, marching bands, student groups, car clubs, equestrian teams, local nonprofits and even an entry by the Sedona Red Rock News.

After the parade, attendees celebrated their Irish heritage with live music, corned beef sandwiches and beer at the festival off Apple Road in Uptown.
