We posted this news in our "uptown neighborhood" and received this reply from Police Chief Cota:
At this time Sedona Police Officers will not be taking any enforcement actions specific to the Coconino County ordinance. The ordinance will need to be reviewed and considered by the Sedona City Council as to whether it should be adopted within our City Code.

Our officers currently have the ability to enforce violations related to distracted driving under Arizona Revised Statues 28-701A and do so on a case by case basis.
