By the time the next election rolls around, Sedona will have someone new at the helm.Sedona Mayor Rob Adams

Mayor Rob Adams announced on Wednesday, March 19, that he will not seek another term in office. His seat will become vacant in November.

“I feel good about my decision,” said Adams, who has been mayor for six years after serving as a councilman for three. “During my first campaign I used the slogan ‘Time for a change.’ My intention was to be a full-time mayor and be devoted 100 percent while not bringing an agenda or allegiance to the job. For me, it’s time for a change. I want to spend more time with my
wife and see what sort of new adventures are out there.”
