Parents looking for ways to keep their children busy during the summer months should make it a point to bring their kids to West Sedona School on Friday, May 10, for the Summer Bash and Activities Fair, from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the school grounds.

Chloe Howard, a second-grade student at West Sedona School, shows off her colorful face paint at a recent school function. Face painting is one of several fun attractions for kids at the Summer Bash and Activities Fair being held at the school Friday, May 10.Put together by the West Sedona School Parent-Teacher Association, numerous vendors will be on hand to sign children up for clubs, sports, classes and other activities, while the kids can play and enjoy various activities.

“The fair that’s happening this Friday is going to be a great opportunity for parents to come up to the school, sign up their children for the summer school program put on by West Sedona School, as well as various camps, Sedona Public Library and Cottonwood Parks and Rec programs,” the PTA’s Melissa Schrader said. “So you can sign up your children while your children are outside enjoying two jumpers, face painting, hair spray, as well as a barbecue. They can enjoy all of those things.”
