Anne Murphy, the general manager of an Uptown restaurant, rounds up her wait staff for a photograph. Arm-in-arm they pose in matching shirts that read “Bauman Boston Strong.” Their fashion statement is part of a fundraiser in support of Murphy’s cousin’s nephew Jeff Bauman, 27, who was a victim of the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15.

Taos Cantina Manager Anne Murphy, second from left, will hold a fundraiser Saturday and Sunday May 25 and 26 at the restaurant, with contributions going to Jeff Bauman, the nephew of Murphy’s cousin. Bauman was at the finish line of the Boston Marathon when bombs exploded April 15, leaving him severely injured and now a double amputee. From left to right, Jesus Gonzalez, Murphy, Arthur Cesena, Lauren Neubauer, Ian Brown, Andy Wahl and Diana Casillas.Bauman was severely injured in the attack and had both of his legs amputated below the knee. The twin bombings, which occurred within seconds of each other near the finish line of the marathon, killed three and injured more than 260.
Bauman was waiting by the finish line for his girlfriend and her roommates to finish the marathon.

After the explosion, fellow spectator Carlos Arredondo, picked up Bauman by his T-shirt and pushed him in a wheelchair to a medical tent. A photograph of Arredondo in a cowboy hat pushing a severely injured Bauman in the wheelchair has become an iconic photograph representing the Boston bombing.
