Aurora Lawrie is a talented teenager; she is also a busy teenager. This is made clear when one attempts to meet the young cellist, one of five Sedona teens who performed at a concert at Studio Live on Saturday, April 6.

Aurora Lawrie, 16, performs at Studio Live on Saturday,  April 6. Lawrie, a member of the student quintet known as the Sedona  Fab 5, is the only one among the group who was chosen for the  All-State Orchestra.“There are no average days,” Lawrie said, after performing in front of a sizable crowd.

Lawrie, 16, is home-schooled, and with that comes a packed schedule that includes not just your typical education, but also practicing both the cello and piano, plenty of road travel to meet and practice with various musical groups, studying for Advanced Placement exams and somehow fitting in the occasional performance.
