Should Sedona allow alcohol at city parks?

On July 17, more than 80 people packed the Sedona Library to express their concerns and thoughts regarding the ongoing issue of live music at area venues and the City of Sedona’s noise ordinance.

At the same time, business owners and musicians expressed concerns about their livelihood being impacted as a result of these complaints. So where do things stand now, two-and-a-half months after the meeting?

Sedona Community Development Director Kevin Snyder, who moderated the July meeting, said a small working group was formed and has met five times since then. The committee is made up of homeowners, business owners, musicians, concerned citizens and the city.
