Koire, the executive director of the Post Sustainability Institute, spoke before more than 150 people Wednesday, June 5, on the Northern Arizona University campus in Flagstaff. Her talk, entitled “Democrats Against Agenda 21,” was sponsored by NAU College Republicans. During the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, the United Nations adopted Agenda 21 as part of a global plan to combat climate change.
