The Sedona Police Department reported that a Sedona man was restrained and robbed by four unknown individuals Friday, Aug. 9.

According to Sgt. Lucas Wilcoxson, four Hispanic males in their early to mid-20s approached a man while in the backyard of his Harmony-area home between noon and 2 p.m. Wilcoxson said the four approached the man and pointed a semi-automatic rifle in his face, took him inside and restrained him. The men took an unknown number of weapons and plants.

Wilcoxson said the man was restrained for about 20 minutes, but that he was able to free himself once the four individuals left. He added that this was not a random act.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact Wilcoxson at 282-3100.
