So far, so good. That was the message given by school administrators in regard to the new school year during the Monday, Sept. 9 Sedona-Oak Creek School District meeting.

Sedona-Oak Creek School District Superintendent David LykinsAs of Sept. 4, there were 1,223 students enrolled at the district’s three public schools, compared to 1,280 this time last year.

“The students are learning every day and having fun,” Superintendent Dave Lykins said. “The teachers and staff are motivated and working hard and our administrators are also working hard and leading the way. And, our parents, volunteers and organizations are not only very involved but are collaborating with one another. We’re off to a great start.”
