Have you ever wondered what it is about a painting that makes it work ?

Why do you like one painting over another even though they are both technically well done?

We will explore what makes a good painting in our color and composition classes.

An attempt will be made to satisfy all ages, levels of expertise, and learning styles through the use of lectures, presentations, demonstrations, critiques, and hands-on experimentation and practice.

There will be homework each week and students WILL produce work they can be proud to hang on their walls, no matter what their level of expertise.

There is something for everyone- day, evening, and after-school. As well as Plein Air Classes. Joy is offering 4 options, each lasting 4 weeks for $200. Classes start October 6th. For more information please contact Joy at (928) 282-1915.
