Welcome to the blog for the new art section of the Sedona Red Rock News. In this blog I will be discussing all things related to art and our amazing Sedona art community.

Sedona is fast becoming one of the most popular art destinations in the country. With fall arriving, the Sedona art season will be busier than ever with upcoming art festivals, gallery openings, art walks and exhibits.

Starting October 30th thru November 18th is the 9th Annual Fall Art show put on by the Sedona Visual Artists Coalition (SVAC) at Tlaquepaque.

The theme of this years exhibit, is “Beneath the Surface.”

‘“Beneath the Surface” implies getting real in the sense that we are breaking things up, and letting light in.’

The SVAC is an ‘inclusive’ organization and welcomes all artists and those who enjoy and support the arts. Being a member of the SVAC is a great way to network with other artists and be active in the art community.

The SVAC holds monthly meetings and several events throughout the year. For more information on becoming a member of the SVAC, please visit their website at www.SedonaArtistsCoalition.org.

I am looking forward to being your art blogger. If you have anything relating to the arts, such as news and events, please e-mail me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
