Martin J. Satran, of Sedona, died April 19.
A fourth-generation Arizonan, U.S. Army and National Guard veteran, he moved to Sedona in 1966 and owned a gas station and auto repair business. A founding member of the Sedona volunteer ambulance, he completed over 2,000 calls, served in the volunteer fire department, search and rescue organizations and taught hunter safety.
He is survived by his wife Ann; children Mark [Carol], Mary Ann [Ric], Mike [Victoria] and Robert; and eight grandchildren. Burial was at Red Rock Cemetery.
