The Sedona Red Rock High School’s Class of 2020 Graduation Ceremony was created by the Sedona-Oak Creek School District to honor all the graduating seniors.

Speeches are presented by Sedona-Oak Creek School District Superintendent Dennis W. Dearden, English teacher Karyl Goldsmith, 2020 Valedictorian Soraya Movassaghi, 2020 Student Body President Mary Westervelt and 2020 Senior Class President Carolina Lopez-Villegas.

Over the course of many days, speakers were filmed presenting their speeches and individual seniors filmed receiving their diplomas, with the videos then spliced together.

Special thanks to filmmaker Jeremy Hawkes.

“I as Superintendent of Schools of the Sedona Oak Creek Unified School District give my permission to the Red Rock News to repost the 2020 Graduation Ceremony on YouTube.” Dennis W. Dearden Superintendent/Principal (12:44 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020)
